A water outage impacts a highway 28 area, the Avondale subdivision, and the vicinity of Poplar Springs Road.  Walhalla customers in those areas are advised by the city to boil their water vigorously at least one full minute before drinking or cooking purposes.  Updates will be carried on the city website and on social media.
