Light voting

June 24, 2014

Today’s second elections–the primary runoffs–so far, at least, have drawn little interest from the Oconee voters.  A spokeswoman for county elections says the turnout has been light.  One example, in the county’s largest precincts, Seneca, 111 people had voted Republican.  Fourteen had cast ballots in the Democratic runoff.
