A police investigation remains active into an incident reported Tuesday, September 7 at Walhalla’s Sertoma Field.  Police Chief Sean Brinson says $200 dollars’ worth of drinks and snacks were stolen from the concession stand in what his department describes as a burglary.

Two new businesses are in the offing for the Oconee County town of West Union.  Mayor Linda Oliver is pleased that Foothills Liquidators will open in the Scenic Plaza Shopping Center and on SC 11, across from Itron, there will be a new oil change business—S and N Express Lube.
