Cases and positivity jump up

As the Delta variant spread continues, South Carolina today reported a significant increase in key COVID-19 numbers.  New cases documented Tuesday were 474; Wednesday, they were 798, with five of them being Oconee County residents.  Statewide, three new deaths were confirmed.  Of 8,946 test results received, the positivity was 12.1%.  For the previous 24 hours, the percentage was 10.8.
