New cases:  2,116 (57 of them in Oconee County) Statewide, the death toll jumped by 36 people including three Pickens County residents. Of 18,525 test results received, the positivity was 14.6%.

The theft of property, including the theft of a catalytic converter, occurred early yesterday on the 123 By-Pass in Seneca, and the police are investigating.  The crime occurred around 6 o’clock yesterday morning at Solar Shield, 902 Bypass 123.  If you can provide information that can help solve the crime, call Investigator Terramano at 864/973-3228.

With their new administrator, Walhalla City Council will hold a special meeting this weekend.  It’s planned as a Saturday workshop for department head planning, goal setting, and future budget process.
