Vouchers still available

There are still Farmers Market vouchers to be distributed by the United Way in downtown Seneca.  They’ll be issuing vouchers until 3 o’clock this afternoon to those senior citizens who qualify.  All you have to do is go to the United Way office and bring proof of identity, residence, and household income information.

Scott has been named speaker for a “God and Country” celebration arranged by Seneca Baptist Church, Utica Baptist Church, and the College Street Baptist Church of Walhalla. An Oconee sheriff’s officer says a chase on I-85 near the Anderson County line led to the discovery of an illegal drug. Capt. Jeff Underwood said at the apprehension scene yesterday near the Dobbins Bridge Road officers found crack cocaine.
