DHEC reports a total of 92 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 across the state.  Four of the cases are Oconee County residents. Added to the statewide virus death toll:  two more people.  Of 6,205 test results received, the positivity was 2.2%.  These numbers are data that reflect the end of the 24-hour count at 11:59 Saturday night.

Governor Henry McMaster comes to Clemson this afternoon for the ceremonial signing of legislation that provides for compensating college athletes.  The governor will be joined by a Clemson President Clements, Athletic Director Radakovich, along with Chance Miller of the athletic department at USC, among others, to draw attention to what’s provided by Senate bill 685.
