The police chief in Westminster, Rory Jones, says, “I can confirm at this time, we did have a vehicle hit a house on Bermuda Street last night.”  There are reports that, at least at first, the police could not locate the driver and a search was begun in that Westminster neighborhood.

The Oconee Sheriff wants the state police to investigate a fight early today between two Oconee County inmates.  No jail guards were hurt, but Capt.
