A late night traffic accident near Westminster.  Reports received by 101.7/WGOG NEWS indicate “multiple injuries” occurred last night at U-S 76 and the W. Bennett Road.  We’re told a pair of medical helicopters responded.

Monday was a deadly day for South Carolinians with COVID-19.  The state health agency reports that, for the 24-hour period ending at 11:59 Monday night, there were 28 virus deaths across the state.  They included an elderly Oconeean who died April 22.
