No deaths noted, but positivity rose

The state health agency announces COVID-19 data for the end of the day Sunday, Easter Sunday.  DHEC confirmed 358 new cases of the virus; 10 of them in Oconee County.  Statewide, there were no new deaths recorded.  Of 10, 363 test results, the positivity was 5%.  For the previous 24-hour period, the positivity was 4.4%.

Those who have interest in downtown Walhalla are invited to a meeting tomorrow at the Main Street Office, 105 W-South Broad Street.  The city’s new Economic Vitality committee meets from 4 to 5:30 pm.  Libby Imbody, Main Street Director, says they will explore ways “to incentivize and guide the future growth of downtown”.
