Food donated to the Collins Children’s Home

The BASF plant near Seneca donated two barrels of food to the Collins Children’s Home, which assists families and children in the area who need additional nutritional support.  BASF workers for weeks collected food, including canned fruit and vegetables, soups, crackers, pancake mixes, tuna, beans, spaghetti, peanut butter, macaroni, cheese.

Sheriff Crenshaw has named a new school resource officer at the Fair-Oak Elementary School.  He’s Keith Brooks who worked 18 years in law enforcement before joining the private sector.  And there’s a new jail guard at the county detention center.  He’s Isaac Salter, who worked two and a half years at the Greenville County Detention Center.
