New confirmed cases of COVID-19 in this afternoon’s DHEC report:  an additional 507 in South Carolina, eight of which are in Oconee County.  Statewide, 17 people have been added to the virus death toll, including a middle-aged Oconeean who died last Saturday.  Of 17,134 test results, the South Carolina positivity was 4.7%.
