Fire late this morning destroyed a mobile home in southern Oconee, on Hillside Lane near the Coneross Creek Road, according to county fire chief Chris Smith.  No one was hurt.

A late afternoon Walhalla car accident.  The city fire department was among the responders at 3:30 pm to N. Katherine Street and Playground Road.  It was a three-car wreck, but no personal injuries reported.
