No vote fraud in Stephens County, Georgia, says registrar

Masked individuals are re-counting votes in 159 Georgia counties.  In at least one county, a county that borders Oconee County, South Carolina, the re-count has been completed, and the registrar there says no fraud discovered.  Stephens County’s Eureka Gober says her staff finished the audit and re-count yesterday afternoon.  Toccoa Radio WNEG quotes Gober as saying both processes went smoothly […]

Line repaired, boil water continues

Walhalla crews have repaired the 10″ line break near Halfway Branch.  Because samples are now to be taken and then analyzed, the boil water advisory continues for Walhalla customers on the Blue Ridge Boulevard, Avondale, Tanglewood, Albert’s Road, and Park Ridge subdivision.  Scott Parris, utilities superintendent, expects to know and announce the results of the samples by late tomorrow afternoon.
