Oconee School District added three new cases to its list of COVID-19.  One is the Walhalla coach who did not enter a school building.  Another is a student at Seneca High School.  A third is a morning student at the Career and Technology Center from Walhalla High School.

Without a main Oktoberfest celebration next month, there will also be no Miss Oktoberfest pageant.  It had been scheduled September 27.  But Greg Bearden of the Golden Corner Pageants announced the cancellation of the pageant after learning that the 43rd Oktoberfest has been called off.
