Crossroads motorcycle crash fatal to 40-year old

A 40-year old motorcycle operator lost his life yesterday when his bike left a rural Oconee road and hit a mailbox, fence, and tree.  Coroner Karl Addis said Keith Wesley Wilson of Seneca died at the scene.  The accident was reported around 1:45 in the afternoon. Unaccounted for hiker is found safe

A missing hiker from Texas, Richard Gonzalez, has been located and today was on the way to a pickup point.  Announcement from Oconee County is the 27-year old Gonzalez, who became separated from his hiking party, is unharmed and more information will follow.  Gonzalez was reported missing Monday on the river somewhere between Nicholson and Burrell’s Ford.
