A five-week street work project will start next week in Clemson.  On Monday, the contractor Martin and Sons will start to replace the 60′ culvert on Clarendon Drive near Shady Lane.  The contractor must clear the right-of-way by removing parts of fallen trees and shrubs and finish minor grading and slope stabilization.  The five-week estimate is dependent on good weather.

A 27-year old hiker from Texas was last seen Monday.  Oconee Emergency Services has put out an alert to locate Richard Gonzalez—6’, a thin 175 pounds.  He was last seen on the Foothills Trail on the river between Nicholson and Burrell’s Ford.  Gonzalez wore a black T-shirt and carried a green backpack.  He has no known medical problems.  It was […]
