A late afternoon accident near Seneca injured a motorcyclist near Seneca on the Mauldin Mill Road.  Chief Caudill of the Seneca Fire Department said that although the motorcyclist’s injuries were non-life threatening, he was nevertheless helicoptered to a Greenville hospital. The cyclist, who wore a helmet, was thrown from his bike about 60 feet and landed on road pavement.

Over an 11-hour period, according to Prisma Health, 924 people took the tests to determine whether they are infectious.  And, for many of those wishing to know, they sat in their cars in line waiting for their turn.  It’s the second time that health authorities have used the grounds of Seneca’s Blue Ridge Elementary for testing.
