The heavy rains have caused officials in Anderson to close two roads in Anderson County.  Hattons Ford Road and Gerrard Roads have been closed and traffic will be detoured. Heavy Rains have prompted the US Army Corps of Engineers to begin releasing stored floodwaters from Hartwell, Russell & Thurmond lakes.  Inflows from the recent rainfalls has pushed the levels into the flood stage.
