In High School Volleyball on Monday, Daniel defeated Walhalla 3-0. The top-ranked Lions won by scores of 25-11, 25-13 and 25-14. Daniel is unbeaten in Western AAA. Peatsy Hollings, the wife of former South Carolina U.S. Sen. Ernest “Fritz” Hollings, has died of complications of Alzheimer’s disease.
