A former Associate Director for Fraternity and Sorority Life at Clemson  University has been arrested.  SLED agents served a warrant Friday morning on 29 year-old Eli A. Furman To Play Gardner-Webb, Coastal Carolina In 2013, 2014

Furman director of athletics Gary Clark announced Wednesday the addition of both Gardner-Webb and Coastal Carolina to the Paladins’ 2013 and 2014 football schedules.  Furman will kick off the 2013 season on Aug. 31 at Gardner-Webb and will play at Coastal Carolina on Sept. 7, the following week.

UConn Basketball coach Calhoun retiring

University of Connecticut men’s head basketball coach Jim Calhoun is retiring. The 70-year-old Hall of Famer was UConn’s coach for 26 years, winning three national titles and 625 games.  Add to that his earlier 14-year tenure at Northeastern, and Calhoun has a total of 873 wins in his career.
