Clemson’s Robinson out for regular season

Clemson coach Dabo Swinney Sunday confirmed cornerback Darius Robinson will miss the rest of the regular season after it was determined he has a fractured ankle. Swinney said doctors hope Robinson can be back for a bowl game.  Robinson was injured in Saturday’s win over Virginia Tech. Initial X-rays were negative.  Swinney said Robinson’s injury…

Junior outfielder commits to Clemson

Outfielder and shortstop Chase Pinder (6-0, 165) of Poquoson High School in Virginia announced a commitment on Sunday to play baseball at Clemson. The announcement came via Twitter. Pinder batted .436 last season.
