Thornwell commits to Gamecocks

Sindarius Thornwell (6’5″) of Lancaster and Oak Hill Academy in Virginia committed Monday night to play basketball for Frank Martin at South Carolina. Thornwell picked the Gamecocks over NC State. Last season he averaged 28 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists per game. He is the second commitment for the 2013 class for the Gamecocks.
