Earnhardt, Jr. to miss next two races with concussion

Gamecocks get Georgia D-lineman

DL Kelsey Griffin (6-2 290) of Hoschton, GA Wednesday announced a commitment to play football at South Carolina. Griffin is considered to be one of the top defensive line prospects in the country. Last season Griffin had 98 tackles with 24 tackles for loss. He is the 21st commitment for the Gamecocks’ 2013 class.

BJ McKie’s son commits to South Carolina

The son of a Gamecock legend is following in his father’s footsteps.  The 6-4 shooting guard Justin McKie of Irmo, the son of USC’s all time leading scorer BJ McKie, announced a commitment to the Gamecocks Monday morning. McKie made an official visit to USC over the weekend and contacted head coach Frank Martin Sunday night with the news.
