The  benefit hot dog sale scheduled for Friday at Walhalla High School has been postponed. The benefit was scheduled to help raise money for two cancer patients:  Walhalla Sophomore Maggie Wells and Pickens Sophomore Kent Townsend. Historic rain event possible

The Golden Corner is in store for rain event of historic proportions, according to the National Weather Service. The area is under a flash flood watch from Friday morning through Monday morning.
