Bats and other endangered species
The gray bat and the Indiana bat and other species considered endangered are not likely to be affected by the re-licensing of the Keowee-Toxaway Project, in the opinion of the lead government agency. The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission has communicated its conclusion to the U-S Fish and Wildlife Service in Asheville, North Carolina. The effects of re-licensing the project are analyzed in the draft assessment for the Keowee-Toxaway project.
