Bethel Baptist victim of thievery

The rural Bethel Baptist Church at Oakway has lost a white, single-axle trailer.  Deputy Sheriffs say thieves are responsible.  The Sheriff’s Office is turning to the public for help and the potential of a Crime Stoppers’ cash award for information that breaks the case.  The trailer is a 2013 Covered Wagon that bears the logo of Bethel Baptist Church.  Nearby law enforcement agencies have been asked to be on the lookout.  The Oconee Sheriff’s Office has also entered the theft information into the National Crime Information Center.
