BHP Offensive Lineman dies

Ben Jordan, a junior offensive lineman for the Belton-Honea Path Bears football team, has died at the age of 16.  Jordan died Thursday night at Greenville Memorial Hospital of a massive blod clot, according to Bears coach Russell Blackston.  Jordan has been dealing with illness since his diagnosis of a blood disorder a little over a year ago.  Jordan was expected to be in a wheelchair on the sidelines tonight when BHP takes on Pendleton at Cunningham Stadium in WGOG’s Broadcast Game of the Week.  Funeral arrangements are not known at this time.
