Bicycle fatality was Seneca dentist

The bicyclist killed in a traffic accident early today in a rural part of Oconee County has been identified as a Seneca dentist. Dr. Michael Lee, 55 years old, lived on Seneca’s Sherwood Drive. Lee died when riding his bike toward Seneca on the Shiloh road in the vicinity of the airport when, according to Coroner Karl Addis, the bike was hit from behind by a motor vehicle also headed west toward Seneca. Addis said Lee was wearing cycling attire with safety equipment present. The bike had warning lights which Addis says were on at the time. State troopers are investigating the collision.
