Bicyclists and cars share 123

Motorized traffic slowed or, in some instances, was forced to come to a complete stop these past two days, as 123 from Seneca to Clemson was used as the route for bicyclists competing in national competition.  Devoting the passing lanes of 123 from Seneca’s Lindsay Road to 93 and 123 on the Oconee County side near Clemson forced normal car and truck drivers to either wade out delays or find alternate back roads to reach their destination–all the while as the bicyclists competed in a competition friendly to their cardio-vascular systems.
