Blood Connection gets a new leader

The board of trustees for the Blood Connection has named a new president/CEO. Delisa English succeeds Greg Hart beginning January 5. English has a background in the business. She serves as the CEO of the Carolinas Blood region with the American National Red Cross. The Blood Connection is the largest, independently managed non-profit community blood center in the region. It recruits donors and collects blood in an area of northwest South Carolina, western North Carolina and northeast Georgia.
