Blood donations needed

The winter weather has taken a toll on community blood donations. The Blood Connection is asking people to donate blood at the nearest blood center or the bloodmobile, once travel conditions safely permit. This week’s weather cancelled multiple blood drive events. All blood types are needed—especially O negative, O positive, and B negative. The nearest donation center is near Seneca, at 1308 Sandifer Boulevard.
