Boil water advisory covers Ashley Estates

Residents of Clemson’s Ashley Estates are under a boil water advisory this morning as the result of low pressure caused by a water main break.  Before using water for drinking or cooking, Ashley Estates customers should boil their water vigorously for at least one full minute.  Any ice made from water that has not been boiled should not be used for drinking purposes.  Clemson is working to correct the problem and is taking water samples in the area.  Test results should be completed by 9 o’clock tonight and posted on the city’s webpage.
