Boil Water advisory in Clemson neighborhood

City of Clemson advises the residents in Monaco Estates to vigorously boil their water for at least one (1) full minute prior to drinking or cooking. Residents should continue to vigorously boil their water for at least one (1) full minute prior to drinking or cooking until otherwise notified by the City of Clemson. Any ice made from water which has not been boiled should not be used for drinking purposes. This advisory is being issued as a precaution only due to low water pressure caused by a water line repair near a fire hydrant in Monaco Estates. The City of Clemson is presently working to correct the problem. The City of Clemson will collect water samples throughout this area. Water sample testing results should be completed by 5:00pm, November 6, 2015 and posted to the City of Clemson’s webpage.
