Bosch president to keynote luncheon

The president of Robert Bosch Corporation will be in the Upstate this week to deliver the keynote speech at Tri-County Tech’s Annual Report luncheon. That luncheon takes place at 11:30 tomorrow morning at the college’s Pendleton campus. And Mike Mansuetti, the Bosch president, can anticipate an audience of about 250 community, business, industrial, government and political leaders from Oconee, Anderson and Pickens counties. The Bosch corporation’s Anderson plant partners with Tech in ways devoted to enhancing educational opportunities. This year the company started a scholars program with Tech evening students. The program helps students to adapt to the workplace more quickly by getting hands on experience in various areas of the manufacturing process. The students work 40 hours a week—in addition to their coursework.
