Boyd named O’Brien semifinalist; Duke game to kick at 7pm

Clemson quarterback Tahj Boyd has been named a semifinalist for the 2012 Davey O’Brien National Quarterback Award. Boyd is one of 16 semifinalists narrowed down from the list of 124 starting QB’s from around the country. Fans may now help determine which three quarterbacks will advance as finalists by voting as often as once daily at www.VoteOBrien.org.  Fan voting will close at noon (CT) on Nov. 18.  In other Clemson news, the time has been set for the Clemson/Duke football game to be played on Saturday, November 3 at Wallace Wade Stadium in Durham, NC. The game is set to kick off at 7:00 PM and will be broadcast on ESPN2. The Tigers are in action on Thursday night this week, as they hit the road to face Wake Forest in Winston-Salem.
