Bracing for holiday drinking and driving

The Walhalla police chief, Ronald Wilbanks, was questioned last night by Councilman T-J Bagwell about a spike in the number of driving under the influence arrests that were noted in his department’s report for the month of November.  Wilbanks replied it’s that holiday time of the year once again when some drivers foolishly combine drinking while driving.  Wilbanks says his officers are bracing for even more instances of drinking and driving during the period of Christmas through New Year’s Day.
