Buddin: Outstanding Young Banker

Blue Ridge Bank’s Glenn Buddin Jr. has been chosen Outstanding Young Banker for 2013-14 by the South Carolina Bankers Association. The highest honor in the state’s banking industry has been presented to a deserving banker each year since 1970. He is 35 years old. In 2008, Buddin became one of the few bankers in the Palmetto State to be awarded dual titles by his employer—chief executive officer and chief financial officer. Buddin is active in his community, having served as president of both the Walhalla Rotary Club and the Greater Walhalla Area Chamber of Commerce.
