Budget time for Westminster

Westminster is getting ready to air out new budgets for the next 12 months of government that begin July 1. At least compared to the current year, fiscal conservatives may like what they find. According to David Smith, city administrator, the proposed spending plans come in at $9.3 million—down from $10.4 million in 2012-13. The budgets contain no tax or additional fee increases. A public hearing will take place during city council’s June meeting at 5:30 Tuesday evening at the Depot.
