Burglars torched open store safe

Burglars used a torch to open a convenience store safe near Clemson, and Oconee Crime Stoppers offers a $2 thousand cash reward for information that solves the crime during the early morning hours of Thursday, November 6. Sheriff Mike Crenshaw says his office will not disclose the amount of cash taken from the Bountyland Quik Store on highway 123 near the Food Lion intersection. The burglars also broke open the store’s inside ATM and contents removed.  They also disabled and stole the store camera system. If you can help solve the crime, call 638-STOP.
