Burglars trash home near Seneca

Burglars made off with a large haul from a home near Seneca after trashing the scene.  The crime was discovered Saturday on S. Randall Circle near S. Oak Street, and the Oconee Sheriff’s Office is investigating.  A side door to the home was found open.  The homeowner reported coins, jewelry and a television set stolen.  According to a responding officer, the intruders left the inside of the home in disarray.
