Burglary south of the RR tracks

Seneca police cars with their blue lights on, followed by an ambulance, created excitement late yesterday afternoon in a neighborhood south of the railroad tracks. “Our officers responded to a burglary in progress call over on Allen Street. The subject fled prior to officers’ arrival,” said Chief John Covington. The police said his officers did not immediately find their suspect, but later the man required medical treatment and, for the time being, was left to the care of medical providers. According to Covington, the subject is known to the police and charges are to be filed today.
