Burglary Suspects In Custody

James Mitchel Estes IITwo Hendersonville, North Carolina men wanted in connection with a robbery in Salem on Wednesday Night are in custody today according to the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office.  James Michael Estes II, 30, of Locogap Road, Hendersonville was booked into the Oconee County Detention center this morning.  Estes surrendered to Oconee County Officials.  According to warrants, he is charged with Grand Larceny & First Degree Burglary in connection with a burglary on Sallowford Road in Salem.  Joshua Estes, 24, of Bearwallow Road, Hendersonville was apprehended by Henderson County Deputies.  According to warrants he is charged with assault and battery-first degree as well as first degree burglary and grand larceny in connection with the Salem incident. The Oconee Sheriff’s Office has begun extradtion proceedings to have Joshua Estes transported to Oconee County.
