The Oconee political campaign trail returns Thursday night to Seneca and, also, extends down highway 59 to Fair Play community. At 7 Thursday night at Seneca’s Gignilliat Community Center, the men who aspire for Seats 1 and 2 in the South Carolina House of Representatives have been asked to take part in a forum sponsored by the League of Women Voters of the Clemson Area. That same night, at 7 at the Fair-Oak Community Center, the three men running for Sheriff are to take part in their second forum of the new political season. That forum is to last about one hour. Doors open at 6:30. The public is encouraged to attend either one.
