Campus arrest alleges felony drug violations

Campus police at Clemson have announced an arrest of a man found asleep in a running truck on the Avenue of Champions. The university identified 24-year old Alabama resident Christopher Michael Cooper as having been charged with possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance within proximity of a school, resisting arrest, and driving under the influence. Cooper is neither a Clemson student nor a university employee, according to the announcement.
