Campus police make burglary and robbery arrests

Police at Clemson University have arrested two Pickens County men on charges of second-degree burglary and strong-arm robbery.  The university announcement states that Sunset residents Jared Michael Burdette and Clayton Scott Allen Vanden Berg are accused of entering an apartment Saturday afternoon at Lightsey Bridge Apartments on campus and forcibly taking a wallet and other items from the occupant.  Burdette and Vanden Berg have been released on personal recognizance bonds of $25 thousand dollars.
