West Union residents wishing to run for a seat on their town council face a noon hour deadline today to make the race. To enter the special September 9 election for a vacant council seat, West Union residents must file by the noon hour today with the county elections office in Walhalla. At last check, two men were in the field: Doug Moore and Chad Thomas.
