Candidates to speak at forum

Two Walhallans will ask their fellow city residents for votes next month when the two square off in a special election to fill a city council seat.  The candidates for the special November 18 election are Lamar Bailes and Chris Grant.  The Walhalla Area Chamber of Commerce announces a “Meet the Candidates” forum at 6:30 Monday night, November 10 at the Walhalla Depot.  The chamber has invited Bailes and Grant to express how each would be a valuable addition to the work of the current council, as well as share their vision for Walhalla in 2015.  Walhalla residents are invited to submit a question to be considered at the forum at [email protected] or call 638-2727.
