Carryover from Seneca’s 2014 election

The Seneca city administrator hit on a theme sounded during the campaign leading to the election. And Greg Dietterick announced steps to make the city’s inner-workings more transparent to both its leaders and the general citizenry. The appearance of a video camera in the back of the council chambers was a sign last night that Seneca is working on a deal with Northland to once again telecast council meetings on cable TV. There are plans, he said, to stream meetings over the city’s website the day after the meetings. And Seneca’s utility customers can look forward to inserts with their bills containing messages and important information about city government.
