10th Circuit judicial elections

Votes cast this week by the South Carolina Legislature have filled judicial offices within the 10th Circuit of Oconee and Anderson counties.  Scott Sprouse of Walhalla may continue to wear the black robe and preside over civil and criminal matters in the two counties.  Anderson attorney David Brousseau is the choice to fill an open Family Court seat in circuit.

Oconee County service organizations may apply for emergency food and shelter monies.  A total of $21,978 dollars is available through the United Way of Oconee.  Only non-profit agencies (no individuals) may apply and should call the United Way no later than 4 o’clock Tuesday afternoon, April 23 to be considered.
